About VRG Photography

My name is Victor Gaines, and I've been shooting since 1991 in the area of weddings, family portraiture, sports, and marching bands. I've been seriously shooting models since 1999. I'm a fun photographer, and allow my clients to give their ideas on our shoots, as we both have to be satisfied with the outcome! I am presently located in Tallahassee, FL.

I LOVE photographing people and events! The clients that I've had over the years have been top notch, and they have been great about referring me to others. I have done the same for them, as well. Networking is the key to success, and I try to meet someone new every chance I get.

My business clients have been:

  • AT&T Yellow Pages (2007 Cover Photo) click here:
  • Florida A&M University ("Marching 100", Dept. of Music & Bands, Choir, football team, Public Relations, etc.)
  • Profound Source
  • Greek Edge
  • Florida A&M University National Alumni Association - Chicago Chapter
  • Sears Holdings Corporation
  • Honda Battle of the Bands
  • Tampa Tribune
  • Your Business Name Here. ;)

Now that you know a little about me, drop me a line, and let's do business!

Thanks for reading!

Take care,

Vic.

Q & A:

Question: What type of camera do you shoot with?

Answer: I mainly shoot with a Nikon D200 (digital camera), as well as the Nikon D100 and N90s cameras. I'm a film shooter by trade, but find that with digital, I'm able to give my clients what they want, and with a shorter turnaround. I still shoot film where necessary or preferred.

Question: Where are you located?

Answer: I'm presently located in Tallahassee, FL.

Question: Do you travel?

Answer: In the past, I've traveled to Las Vegas, Orlando, Atlanta, Florida, and Maryland. If you're interested in shooting with me, drop me a line, and I'll let you know when/if I'll be coming out your way!

Question: Do you do TFP's (Time For Prints)?

Answer: Only on an "as needed" basis. More info can be found on TFP's and my rates on this page:

Question: What are your rates?

Answer: Check out my Rates Page.

Question: What if we shoot, and I don't like my photos?

Answer: If there is a technical issue with your photos, ie bad lighting or blurred photos, then I will gladly re-shoot at no cost to you. I do not give out cash refunds. If you are just plain ugly, then that's something I can't fix. (wink)

Question: Do you only shoot African-American models?

Answer: No, I don't limit myself to just African-American models. I've shot a variety of models, and my clients are of all colors. If you are interested in shooting with me, drop me a line.
